SHOR-TT'S THEATRE.
The emotional story of a gii^s fight with temptation which is unfolded in "Borrowed Clothes" at Shortt's Theatre embodies various phases of life, and holds interest throughout. A pretty salesgirl, cast out from her own family, is only saved from a loveless marriage by the timely arrival of the man Bhe has always loved. Mrs. Charlie Chaplin, in the lead, does excellent character work.- Good supports are provided.
