REVIVAL OF PRE-WAR SPLEN-
DOUR.

LONDON, 17th June.
There was a remarkable revival o£ prewar splendour at the Ascot Meeting. There was beautiful weather and a dazzling display of fashion. There was a complete absence of khaki in the Royal Enclosure. A record crowd accorded Their Majesties a tremendous ovation.
