Perrys, Ltd., of Fcilding, are exhibiting at the National Dairy Show_ the " Cleveland" farm tractor. This is declared by shrewd, level-headed farmers to be the most efficient tractor science has produced. Like the giant "tanks" that were used on the European battlefields during the great war, the "Cleveland" travels on its own tracks, which it lays down and picks up as it goes along. It weighs less than 32001b, and travels over practically any kind of ground. It is small enough to work among small trees, and can be housed in less space than a single horse. With its twelve horse-power'at the drawbar and twenty at the pulley the "Cleveland" tractor is an ever-ready source of tractive and stationary power. ■ Every trial - and demonstration adds further triumphs to this tractor. Beferring to a demonstration given recently at Hororata, an Auckland paper says: "The demonstration at Hororata was another triumph for the ' Cleveland' farm tractor. Though the ground was fairly stony and had not been ploughed for eight or ten years, the ' Cleveland' drew with ease a MasseyHarris three-furrow plough, at varying depths of six to eight inches. Afterwards a grubber was hitched up, and the ' Cleveland' went away with it easily. Then discs were added without seeming to make any difference to the tractor."
