INSURANCE OF SCHOOLS

The insurance of 6chool buildings against fire was advocated by Mr. K. A. Wright, ,M.P., at the meeting of the Wellington Education Board to-day. The secretary of the board explained that after a building had been up for twenty years the Department allowed a progressive rate per year for depreciation. The board under the circumstances had insured its own buildings against fire that had not been up twenty years.
