SUPERFLUOUS HAIR.
FACTS ABOUT ELECTROLYSIS.
Tho word Electrolysis convoys to tho average woman's . mind tho idea of clootric shocks and tho unpleasant feelings that can bo caused by various electric currents; and many readers will bo interested to learn that with tho latest scientific method' practised by Mrs. Rolleiston there is not the smallest sensation of electricity. • At tho most, there is but a feeling- of slight pain, caused by tho special needle-point, which is heated "by electricity—so slight that in many cases tho treatment is painless. The advantages of tho nowesfc method is that each hair can be removed in a shorter space of time. Uio cost is lessened, and, as the skin is not scarred, there is no indication that hair over grew on the part treated. The following arc a. few of the numerous testimonials received by Mrs. Rolleston; they will be convincing: to tho most sceptical mind: .
"The Electrolysis work you have done on my face and chest- has proved to be a greater success than I evor thought possible. None of the hair has grown again, and part of the work you did was done two years ago. The growth -on tho chest was very strong, and I was afraid that I would bo much marked. However, not a mark is visibio. This is wonderful considering- the very careful and delicate work that is necessary for such a sensitive part.
Another lady writes:—"l was always so sensitive about my affliction- that I did not Jiko to interview Mrs. Rolleston. But at last I did so, and after a course of treatment I have a perfectly clean face, beingcleared of a very heavy growth on tho upper lip, on the chin, and underneath, for-whioh I will be evor grateful." "For ten years I was afflicted with a, severe growth of hair on my face,"-states another lady, "and during that time I tried almost every remedy advertised, except Electrolysis, without success. About two years ago I read a letter you had published in tho daily paper, which had been written by one of your patients. I thereupon decided to give Electrolysis a trial, and I'm afraid I was a very pessimistic patient at first. However, 1 can now safely say my faith in you. is unbounded, as not only have the hairs never returned, but my skin is without a mark." "A Grateful Patient" states: "Having, as an old lady, nearly 80, undergone a course of Electrolysis by Mrs. Rolleston for tho 'removal of superfluous hair, I have very gTeat pleasure in testifying- not only to its perfect efficiency, but- also to its comparative painlessness."
Note: "We certify that tho above testimonials are truo copies of the originals in the possession of Mrs. Rolleston." (Signed) Gold and Arcus, Public Accountants, Wellington, 28th April, 1919.
