TOWN-PLANNING
The honorary organiser Aac the Town Planning Conference (Mr. Hurst Seagar, F.E.1.8.A.) returned to Wellington today after a most. successful organising (tour of the North Island. In the past week Mr. Seagar visited New Plymouth, Hawera, Wanganui, and Palmerston North, delivering lectures and explaining tho purposes of the movement to local bodies. In every centre the municipal councils have been found interested and willing to co-operate, and in many places town-planning associations have been formed as the result of Mr. Seagar's visit.
