WEATHER FORECAST.
At 8 a.m. to-day the followinz forecast was Issued for the subsequent 24 hours:— Winds—South-easterly, moderate to strong, changing by east to northerly northward of East Cape and Kawhia; variable, but northerlies, prevailing and freshening elsewhere. Barometer—tittle movement in the North; falling tendency elsewhere. Seas—Considerable but decreasing on all the western coast; moderate swell northward of East Cape; moderate elsewhere. Tides—Good generally. Weather—Mild and hazy conditions generally, but unsettled and cloudy at times in the northern and southernmost districts. A cold night may be expected. D. C. BATES.
