AN APPEAL FOR SUPPORT.

TIMARU, 14th February. On Tuesday evening the Hon. J. T. Paul, M.L.C., and Mr. M'Combs, M.P., addressed a full meeting in the Lyceum Theatre, which was filled -again to-night when the speaker was Mr. R. Semple, M.P. All -were well received. The speakers appealedl for support for the Labour Party, and condemned the present Government.
Mr. Wetherby, secretary of the Empire Service League, also gave an address here to-night on the aims of the league.
