SOLAR HALO
Many Wellington people were interested to-day in a fine solar halo which was visible at lunch-time, caused by unusual moisture in the air.
Since Monday last two sun spots, one larger than the other, and several small outliers have been in the solar disc, and will, Mr. G. V. Hudson states, pass the central portion of the sun about the end of the week.
