February 10—Mapourika, s.s. (12.50 p.m.), 120S tons, McDonald, for Picton and Nelson
ARDGAY FROM NEWCASTLE.
With a cargo of coal from Newcastle for the New Zealand Hallways, the steamer Ardgay is in port. She is a steel ship of 4593 tons, built in January, IBIS, for Lang and Fulton, of Greenock, by Russell and Co.. of Glasgow. Ker length is 3Ssft, breadth 52ft, and depth 28ft. The Ardgay was formerly trading between England, America, and Mediterranean ports. Captain McOullock is in command, and has with him Mr. 'It. Bowman as first officer, Mr. ,T. Cameron as second, and Mr. A. Jluir as third. Mr. A. McDonald is chief engineer. Tile vessel carries a crew of 46, some of whom have been in torpedoed ships.
The Moeraki is due to arrive in Wellington from* Sydney on Wednesday next.
From San Francisco the Paloona is due in Wellington to-morrow afternoon, and after 24 hours' quarantine will berth.
