SUMMER WEATHER
Week-enders, after main7 disappointing Saturdays and Sundays, made the most of the beautiful weather yesterday and the day before, and the bays were very well patronised, especially Day's and Bona Bays. Special boats were run across the harbour, each crowded beyond ordinary comfort. In other parts conditions were not so favourable, and the weather 'was changeable, especially over tho South Island. Generally, strong west to south-west winds prevailed.
Fair to cloudy weather may be expected generally, but conditions may be unsettled at times in the extreme north and south. Moderate to strong easterly to northerly winds may be expected to the north of East Cape and Kawhiu, and northerlies to westerlies elsewhere. The barometer shows little movement, but has a falling tendency.
