"BUSINESS BEFORE PLEASURE."
Messrs. Adams and Waters, Maggie Moore, and the other members of J. 0. Williamson's Comedy Company arrived in Wellington this morning. The mechanists, property men, electricians, and the whole of the scenery and effects came on Saturday, so that everything is in complete readiness for the opening performance of "Business Before Pleasure," which begins its Wellington season at the Grand Opera House this evening, when the two celebrated Hebrew cumedians, Messrs. Adams and Waters, and J. C. Williamson's specially-organised comedy company will stage for the first time here the very humorous and remarkably successful Hebrew play "Business Before Pleasure," which has in Australia and New Zealand eclipsed the triumphs won by "Potash and Perlmutter." The position held by Messrs. Adams and Waters in the estimation _f London and New York theatrical managers may be ga,uged by the fact that they were both selected to create the characters of Abe Potash and Mawruss Perlmutter when it was first staged in England and America, and they played the parts continuously for over three years. In "Business Before Pleasure" our old friends Abo and Mawruss have left the clothing trade, and have entered the film industry, and, as in "Potash and Perlmutter," there is the same rapidity of utterance, the same hot arguments, and the same amusing episodes in which, the, excited partners were shouting each other down, and the same alternations of wrangling and reconciliation. The box plans for the whole season are now on view at the Bristol. . Early door tickets for stalls aiid gallery may be secured at Perry's or at the doors this.evening.
