PRESSMEN AT PLAY.
Quite an enjoyable match took place at Kelburn Park on Saturday afternoon between teams representing the Evening Post and the Dominion. Victory rested with The Post team by the margin of 179 runs, only one innings each being played. The Post batted first, and compiled 219 runs, to which the principal contributors were A. J. Tullett (103 retired), Purdev (31). Cunningham (30), Ryan (10), and T. A. Tullett (10). The Dominion fared rather badly on going to the wickets, the whole side being disposed of for 40 rung. Maysmor (17) was the only scorer of double figures. A. J. Tullett and Ryan divided the wickets, each bowling well.
