Trial Stakes, of 140 soys, w.f.a.-'; 7 furlongs.—Kilrush 1, Indus 2, Larissa 3. Won by two lengths. Time, lmin 23 3-ssec. Scratched: Fabisco, Hytcm, Greek Son, and Caverock.
Hornby Welter, of 150 soys; one mile.—Hiero, 8.0, 1 ; Euripos, 9.4, 2 ; Moorabbe, 8.10, 3. Scratched: Tip-Up. Won by a length, two lengths separating second and third. Time, lmin 43sec.
