HAMBURG'S FEAR
THE LOSS OF GERMAN SHIPPING.
NEW YORK, 29th January. The Hamburg correspondent of the Chicago News interviewed Herr Joseph Marck, director of the Hamiburg-Ame-rika Line, who said :—"The Allies' requisition of German shipping means the ruin and destruction of German commerce. I do not believe the Allies intend to return the vessels to Germany. The provision that German crews are to be replaced by Americans will lead German seafaring men to become Bolshevists."
