LONDON, 29th January. Freights to all direct ports jn Australia and New Zealand are : Fine measurement, £6 ss. per'ton; rough measurement, £5; packed weight, £3 IDs/; close weight, £3. These rates commence with the Benalla, which is now loading for Australia, and the Remuera, which is about to load for New Zealand. The l^ed-uction averages about 60 per cent, from the flat rate of £7 15s recently rating.
