PEASANT REVOLT IN RUMANIA.

LONDON, 29th January. Vienna advices state that there is a peasant revolution in Rumania. Systematic risings occurred simultaneously at all the villages on 25th January. Returning armed soldiers, heading the insurgents, forced their way into the towns, and Moody encounters with the regular troops followed. Fighting at Bucharest continued throughout the day of _ 25th January. Tie soldiers used ma-chine-guns, and killed considerable numbers. The Social Democrat Party joined the revolutionaries. *
