THE QUEEN'S THEATRE.
A new programme in to bo inaugurated to-morrow at the Queen's Theatre, headed by the well-known star Gladys Brockwcllin a picture-play entitled "For Liberty." This picture is said to liave caused a great deal of comment because of its excellence and the especially good story that it tells. It has to do with a brilliant woman's affection under the stress of war conditions. The scenes are laid at Berlin just when the United States went into the European conflict, but the soul of the woman who is caught in the midst of conflicting emotions is the predominating feature of it. This woman remains loyal to her country, and hor heart in spite of all the efforts to distract her. The supporting programme will be found to be of the usual excellent quality, tho chief item being another of the popular Sunshine comedies, entitled "Hungry Lions in a Hospital."
