CHECK TO MINE-SWEEPING
The Tutanekui, equipped for minesweeping in New Zealand waters, is still held up by the demands of firemen and other hands for abnormal pay and conditions. Negotiations are still in progress. There were signs to-day that the mine-sweeper would be allowed to put to sea on a basis of compromise.
