TAUMARUNUI, 24th January. Mr. R. Semple; M.P., spoke here last night to a large audience, when the following motion was passed:—"That this meeting of citizens calls on the Government to concede railway servants their just demands." After the meeting a strong branch of the New Zealand Labour Party was formed.
