WELLINGTON DISTRICT.

The Wellington District Methodist' Synod, postponed on account of the^ epidemic, commenced its session at x Trinity; Ghuroh, Newtowu, tint; morning. The Rev. Feeling response was made to the loss the church had sustained in the decease of some of its ablest and most successful ministers. The Chairman also referred-to the great problems which awaited solution in' the near future, due to humah selfishness, and against this spirit we must set our faces in order that justice and righteousness may prevail. N As tJie result of a ballot, Rev. Angus M'Bean was elected secretary of the Synod,' Rev.' A. Reader was appointed assistant secretary, Rev. Hedley White minute secretary. Rev. Enticott and Mr. ,F.
