CHILI AND PERU
THE RUMOURS OF WAR.
(tJWTID nt.SS ASSOCIATION.—COWRISHT.) (ACSTBAUAN-NBW ZEALAND CAJLE ASSOCIATION.) NEW YORK, 7th December. The United Press Agency's Santiago correspondent says that Chili will ask Britain to return the two Dreadnoughts which she requisitioned at the beginning of the war. The State Department at Washington denies that United States warships will be sent to Peru.
