The South Canterbury Jockey Club, whose fixtures for 21st November was postponed on account of' the epidemic; lie applying to the Racing Conference for 16th January, and will invite fresh nominations. OAMARTJ, Bth December. At a special meeting of the North Otago Jockey Club this afternoon, it was decided, in view of the very far-reaching effects of the influenza, epidemic to postpone the New Year meeting to a future date. ' . ; GOBE, Bth December. The Gore Trotting Club has postponed its Boxing Day Meeting till April. The racecourse buildings are still being used for hospital purposes. GBEYMOUTH, 7th December. The Greymouth Jockey and Trotting Clubs will hold their races oh the advertised dates.
