POLYNESIANS AT PEACE CONFERENCE
"Has the Prime. Minister ■ received a reply from the Imperial authorities regarding the representation of the Polynesian race at the Peace, Conference?" asked Mr. Uru in the Houee of Representatives to-day. . The Prime Minister said. he had no reply from England. .He learnt indirectly that the Government was finding great difficulty in arranging■-for the representation of the various races in the British dominions. They' had received hundreds of applications. What he did propose was that the Polynesians should be represented at the Peace celebrations. Mr. Uru; That is a. joy trip. The Prime Minister said the Polynesians, and especially the Maoris, were certainly entitled to this.
