SOUTH DEFEATS CENTRAL.
At Kilbimie Park, on Saturday, South defeated Central by four runs, after a keen and interesting game.- First innings, first half : South won the toss, and sent Central into bat, Alien pitching. Off his first ball Watt* hit a boundary, a home run. Tilley hit a "*wobagger," stole third, and came, "home" on Warcup's sacrifice. Innes wag out on second, and Louisson out on first—2 runs. Second half: Hogan pitching. Alien made a single base. Bailey wae out on first, Allen safe on second. Kay was out on first, Allen safe on third; and home on Wadman's sacrifice—l run. Second _, innings, second half : Central could do nothing with Allen's pitching—ho rune. Second half : With bags twice full errors in the field proved disastrous for Central—Alexander, Wadman, Lutz, A. M'Culloch, Bailey, Kay, and lAlten (home run) scoring—7 runs. Third ■ innings : W. M'Culloch and Moore scored for Central—2 runs. There wae no further scoring by either side. Mr. Morri* controlled the game.
