A meeting of the Hataitai committee ■was held on Saturday evening. The [ expenditure incurred during the cainipaign amounted to £41, and after payI ing this a balance of £50 remained. Of f this, £26 was earmarked for the Tolley fund, and £24 for the relief of families in distress. Messrs. A. G. Barnett, A. Leigh Hunt, and H. W. Tolan were appointed trustees.
