Already the rush for accommodation at Christmas time is being felt by the shipping companies, and applicants for berths on the ferry steamers are being told that all available spaca has been booked. It is understood sthat the Maori will be back in the ferry run about 16th December, and that she wilk. be assisted by ths Mararoa and theMonowai. . Berths on the Nikau and Kaitoa, which maintain the Nelson trade, are also being booked for Christmas. * ■
