SIR DAVID BEATTY'S ADVICE. LONDON, 4th December. In his speech to the crew of the Lion, Sir David Beatty added : "We know that tile British sailor has a large heart and a short memory. We should try to harden the heart and lengthen the memory, and remember that the enemy you are looking after is a despicable beast., neither more nor less."
