REPATRIATION BILL
NORTH CANTERBURY'S PROTEST. (BI TEI.IiGBAI'H.—WIESS ASSOCIATION.) CHRISTCHURCH. This Day. A meeting of the North Canterbury' Repatriation iLeague strongly deprecated the hurried passing of the Repatriation Bill, and suggested the skeleton lines for a Bill. The meeting approved tho whole scheme, to be uflder civilian control, and free from military influence, and decided to communicate its views to Cabinet and the local members of Parliament.
