At a meeting of the management committee of the Wellington Tennis- Awocietion, held on Wednesday night, after considering the entries for the proposed regular infcer-club matches, if was decided that the entries forthe men's competition were not such as to make a competition possible. Two ladies'. competitions* will be played, one for the senior ' and.oae for second and third :grade . teams/ Already, there are '.some eleven.;teams■:'entered,^and 'it' is.hoped that, sUU,-further entries be received.
