The Auckland Education Board passed the following motion :—"That in view of the widespread dissatisfaction with the regrading of coiiain grades of teachers by the Assistant Director, the board asks the Minister to sot up a. commission to inquire into tho whole matter of grading, with a view to arriving at a satisfactory Dominion grading list that will command tho confidence of both teachers and boards."
