LODGE MEETING
At tha half-yearly summoned meeting of thq Melrose Lodge, No. 66, U.A.0.D., held in the Maranui Church Hal], Arch Druid Bro. N. Austin presided. Visitors present were D.P. Bro. Potter and P.A. Bros. Hazlewood and Burroughs, of Coronation Lodge. A large amount of business was transacted, a noticeable feature being the number of brothers on the sick list suffering- from inHuenza. Two members had died during tho epidemic, and motions of condolence were passed with their widows and relatives. The following officers were elected for tho ensuing term and installed by D.P. Bro. Potter, assisted by P.A. Bro. Hazelwood :—Arch Druid, Bro. Christopherson; Vice-Arch, Bro. Everett; J.P.A., Bro. Austin; Secretary, Bro. Raven; Treasurer, Bro. Hall; Inside Guardian, Bro. Williams; Outside Guardian, Bro. Middleton; Minute Secretary. Bro. Hall; A.D. Bards, Bros. Ansell and Chapman; V.A. Bards, Bros. Miller and Gooch; Auditor, Bro. Chapman; Dispensary and Medical Institute Delegate, Bro. Raven; R.A.C. Delegate, Bro. Everett; Social Stewards, Bros. Everett and Middleton. It was resolved to pay an official visit to Coronation Lodge next Tuesday to contest tho final of the Hawke Cup for half-year ending November. One honorary member was proposed.. Tho proposed euchre party and dance has been abandoned.
