SOLDIERS' DEATHS
The Defence- Department advises that the following soldiers have died in New Zealand:— Private Alfred Ellis, 92682,^ A Company, 60th Reinforcements, died at Trentham Military Hospital from influenza and cerebro-spinal fever at 8.30 p.m. on 3rd December./ Deceased was 35 year* of age and married, his next-of-kin being his wife, Mrs. Violet j Ellis, c/o S. Welks, Puniho, Taranaki. I Private Edward Wells Ladbrook, 90572, A Company, 01, died at Featherston Military Hospital at 5.45 a.m. an the 4th December from influenza. Deceased was 29 years of age and married, his next-of-kin being Mrs. A. Ladbrook (wife), Mataura, Southland.
