Under the War Legislation Amendment JliH, as amended by the Legislative Council, authority is given to the New Zealand University Senate to make provision for tho giant,of degrees withoirt examination and take other steps d«emed necessary for the purpose of avoiding undue hardship to students or candidates by reason of the interruption of their studies or examinations by the influenza- epidemic.
