The inhabitants do not show any traces of ill-nourishment. Though food prkes. ( were high thef were cheaper than the Paris prices. [A recent cable message from The Hague stated:—The Berlin restaurants (■are filled to overflowing with stocks ,6f food which had been hidden, but which have been now brought out because of the prospect of receiving supplies from the Allies." Generous meals are being .served, and German champagne is flowing like water.]
