SQUALLY WEATHER

Wellington this morning was favoured with real spring weather, but other parts of the Dominion are experiencing the full effects of the westerly storm. The barometer is low in the South, from where hail, sleet, and snow are reported. There has been heavy rain in the northern districts. The westerly gales which have been prevalent are likely to change to southerly. A rising barometer and squally weather, with heavy showers, are likely. More snow is probable in the South.
