KATHLENE MACDONELL.
The box plans for the Kathlene MacDonell season, commencing at the Grand Opera House on Friday next, will be opened at the Bristol to-morrow morning. The following plays will be presented: "Outcost," "Daddy Long-Legs," "The Cinderella Man," and 'Romance." "Outcast" will be played for the first two nights, and each of the others for one night, only. So, popular and attractive a repertoire should ensure a successful season. Of "Outcast" a leading Australian critic, writes,: "'Outcast' serves to confirm the impression that Miss Kathlene MacDonelPs talents have been ',-best. exhibited to us in this > play. Education in the realities of life conventional as those realities may be) is the ground theme of the play, and Miss MacDbnell is well equipped for the task of depicting the educational development indicated." Mr. Charles Waldran will,repeat, his, telling interpretation of the luckless Geoffrey Sherwcod, and Mr. Roy Redgrave will be seen as Hugh Brown Mr. Kenneth Brampton will be favourably remembered as Tony Hewlett, while the Valentino of Miss Beryl Bryant should serve as a fine artistic foil to Miriam. Of the others in the cast; important roles will be sustained by Mr. Plumpton Wilson (Taylor), Miss Aubrey Worth (Nelly). '. . ", ■ ; . ' '
