9 LONDON, 29th September.. The Belgians have captured the.Passchenda^le. Ridge and Messines. . ' There are indications that the enemy is retiring from the Chemin dcs Dames.; The French have captured the highest/ point of the ridge. There is severe fighting on the Cambrai. sector. The St. Quentin push is going well, and the troops have crossed the canal at Bellicourt.
