Sessue Hayakawa, the remarkable' clever Japanese actor, draws a picture that is at once ennobling and pathetic. "Sunshine Nan," the second picture, is based on Alice Hegan Rice's "Calvary .sAlley," in which Ann Pennington plays the role, of Nan. It is a very human stoi-y, brimful of humour, yet not lacking pathetic touches, which, after all, "make" the picture. A pleasing selection of supporting films includes an Australian Gazette. '
