PROFESSIONAL ORCHESTRA.

The Wellington Professional Orchestn, under the conductorship of Mr. E Moschini, gave a most enjoyable conce't in His Majesty's Theatre last night before a large and delighted audience. A feature of the programme was the pla> ing of Schubert's unfinished symphony h B minor, Played, as-it was, with jud, ment and a nicely expressed emotion; tie selection, a memorial to'"-the wonderfl musical geuius of the immortal composer, was a splendid effort. ■, Its beauty depth, and serenity are something o wonder at, and the Professional Orche-t-ra is to be congratulated on jte exeflentnriterpretation. Its two movement, ending with the andante, were playd with delicacy, the- strings, wood-winl and the horns combining in a 'harmor that, was as convincing as it was tunefii Another "pleasing item was' Sydne Baynes's overture, "Endure to Conquer; in which is an oboe solo. The "Pom and Circumstance" march of Elgai Grieg's "Wedding Day," and Rubei stein's "Melody in I"' were very accepi able selections also.
