CAPPELLL
One of the most successful concert; tours on record will be. brought to a conclusion in Wellington at the Grand Opera House, where on Tuesday evening next Signor Cappelli, the famous Italian operatic tenor, will give the first! of a series of three concerts. On his previous visit Cappelli made a very great ■impression. Of Cappelli's return concerts in Auckland the New Zealand Herald says : "The. reappearance of Sig; nor Cappelli at the Town Hall on Sat: urday even&ig-in the first of two farewell,recitals was the' occasion of a remarkable display of enthusiasm from a crowded and delighted audience. Double and even treble encores were the order of the evening, this being not only the experience of the principal, bnt of. the other members of the company." Special programmes have been arranged for the three concerts to be given, and all the artists will contribute, new numbers. Mr. John Amadio, the brilliant flautist, Signor Lucien Cesaroni, the popular basso, and Mr. Harold Whittle; will all make welcome reappearances, and Miss Natilina M/Callum/ a young soprano, who has recently joined the company, will be heard for the first time in Wellington. The box plans for' the three concerts opened at the Bristol this morning. . -
