SPECIAL MEDICAL BOARD
Lieut.-Colonel E. E. Porritt has joined the -Special C 2 Medical Board ac president, in place of Lieut.-Colonel Burnan. Since his return from duty on a hospital ship,; Colonel; Porritt has recently been ■ actinjr -'as'- president.of the Special Ro"eKWninatioTi" "Medical Board attached to the branch of the Director of Recruiting. This board reviews all the papers of First ■Division.' men- who have volunteered or .been .drawn in. the ballot and have been classed C 2, and decides.whether they shall bo called up for re-examination by the Special C 2 Board. The personnel of the C 2 Board is now as follows: —Lieut. Colonel E..E.' Porritt, president; Captain W. B. Mercer -and Captain A. G: Harvey. Theposition of military approving officer has been abolished, ,a.nd Major Blackett, "M.C.,"'who"ac{ed" in "that capacity, has gdna'td"N&lAttt°tM groifp-coramander, in places of Captain Burn, now in camp.
