LONDON, 27th September. There has been a fairly/ general resumption of work in Wales. Meetings of the Great Eastern and the London and North-western, drivers and- firemen decided to resume, but London traffic is still disorganised. - , '."'■■" The railwayman's executive passed an expression of confidence in Mr. Thomas and asked him to reconsider his resignation when in better health.
Mr. Thomas says his decision'is final.
