SOLDIERS AND THE CIVIL LAW
(Received September 28, 11 a.m.) MELBOURNE, This Day. The Federal Senate proposes to amend the Defence Act to bring soldiers on active service into conformity with the civil law respecting the commission of the capital offence of murder.
