CONSULATE IN MOSCOW BESIEGED
FOOD SUPPLY CUT OFF
(Received September 28, 11.30 a.m.) ■-, NEW YORK, 27th September. Mr. Arno Dosch-Fleurot writes: Mr. Poqle, of the American Consulate, has arrived from Moscow. In an interview he said that the American Consulate flew the Norwegian flag for its protection against the Bolsheviks, but the Lettish Guards surrounded the building and would not permit any food to enter it. There is danger that the water supply may have been cut off. The French Consul-General, M. Grewjrd, and the French . Military Attache, General Lavergene, a-re among the be: sieged. Mr. Poole was the only diplomat allowed to pass in and out of the American Consulate. The .
