The General Efficiency Lec£ure oiv Tuesday night to the 'W.N.R. Emergency Corps was given'by Mis. Corliss, and was most instructive, an immense amount of information being given concerning the hospitals to which omi wounded soldiers are sent in London, also tlie'tripo taken by our convalescent men when there. The speaker showed a number of most interesting photographs of London •buildings. The previous week Mr. Hoby was the lecturer, and he gave valuable information witlfcregard to the cave, etc., of the teeth. : * Last Friday the KJiandallah ladies, under Mrs. Willis, entertainacl the members of the W.N.'R, Wives' Club to a most enjoyable tea, when Mrs. Charles Mirams and Miss Parsons provided a delightful musical programme. On the Friday previously the Island.Bay; fakles, under Mrs. "Barnard, were the hostesses, Mrs. Ferkins being responsible for the acceptable musical programme. Mrs. Porter (organising secretary) presided at-both gatherings.
