(4 p.m.), 120 tons, Wilkinson, from Wanganui DEPARTURES. September 27—Mapourika, s.s. (12.10 p.m.), 1203 tons, Irwin, for Picton and Nelson . September 27—Kaitoay's.s. (1.40 p.m.), 305 tons, Wildman, for Nelson After having been surveyed the Mapourika was brought off the Patent Slip at 8 o'clock this morning. She left for, Picton and Nelson as usual to-day. Passengers and shippers are advised to note the alteration in her running next week, the particulars of which were given last night. Tho Monowai will very likely leave Dunedin to-nieht for Lyttclton, although there is » possibility that sho will not be ablo to soil from tho southern port until to-morrow. From Lyttelton she will go on to Napier, Glsborne, and Auckland, aud will not call.it Wellington. Wellington passengers on board will transfer to" the ferry steamer at Lyttelton A message from Gisbome to tho Union Company to-day states that it is hoped to bo able to despatch the Rosamond for Nupicr and Wellington to-night The Union Company's steamer Kakapo was to have left Groymouth to-day for Wellington ■. The 'schooner Lily, according to a telegram received by the Lyttelton agents on Wednesday evening, arrived at Kaipara on Tuesday. During the passago her boom carried away . A schooner at present at Wellington was taken out into the iuirbour to-day to adjust her compasses.
