CURTAILED SERVICES TO-NIGHT
This evening, the late shopping-night, the- Oriental Bay service will from 7. to 11 only be run between Courtenay-place artd the Bay. The management regrets the. necessity for this, step, which has teen taken in an endeavour to give the best service possible under the existing conditions to residents of outlying districts. The Wallace-street service will also'be curtailed, the cars from 7to 11 being; run from Wallace-street fb the Town' Hall only, at twenty minutes' intervaL The Island Bay and Lyall Bay cars-;will run at fifteen minutes' iritervals:;;;the Kilbirhie'cars at. ten minutes' intervals; and on the Karon and Seatoun runs" ihe usual schedule will be adhered to as nearly as''possible. '
