DEFENCE COMMISSION
CONSIDERATION OF RECOMMEN
DATIONS,
The recommendations and suggestions of the Defence Expenditure Commission will be considered at a conference of the principal officers and district commandants, which will open nt Defence Headquarters to-morrow. The General Officer Commanding in New Zealand, MajorGeneral Sir Alfred Robin, will preside. It' is expected that the conference will occupy several days. The result of its deliberations will be submitted to'the Minister of Defence.
