WOMEN DEMAND MORE (WAGES.

LONDON, 18th August. Tha women conductors on the London. trams and 'buses have struck, and are demanding the same wages as paid to men, and particularly the war increase of 5s a week in the recently-granted rates. Over 3000 men and women are involved.
